Thanks to some dedicated volunteers, great musicians, Cugini's Restaurant and a determined Lynne Rolls, the show did go on!
Mother Nature had things so wet the last couple of weeks the event had to move to the following weekend of the original date and go inside.
The crowd ranged from 8 to 80 and all had a great time. There was pizza, laughter, face painting and yes there was music! There was a lot of good music.
Doug Bell, Drew Sims, Youngest Son, Robbins & Geshenand and Scatterpoint provided some excellent entertainment. the music styles covered a wide range from classic vocals to modern rock. We heard Jimmy Buffet, Frank Sinatra, Beatles, Steven Stills, Originals and beyond
This event was to help raise funds for the Poolesville Library and awareness of the Library Advisory Committee (LAC). |

Doug Bell started off the event with "Cowboy in the Jungle" By Jimmy Buffet (Thanks Doug:-). Doug is a local favorite and for good reason. First He is really, really good and second, he donates his time and talent to numerous charity events.
Next up "Youngest Son" (Brooke Robbins, John Rolls, Scott Geshen). Sorry Brooke that is the only photo I got of you. |

April Leese was on hand to provide face painting, as well as some ankle, knee and arm painting. Small Spidermen and tigers soon filled Cugini's.
The mood was lite, the music was right, and everyone had a great time. Good job Lynne! |

Members of Scatterpoint wait to perform outside Cugini's. The show had gotten a little behind so they had to relax for a while. However, they were not alone, these guys had a lot of faithful fans that waited right there with them.
They finally did get to play. And when they did, their fans knew it was well worth the wait. |
